    Yoga – Tai Chi – Chi Kung is a total health and wellness development system that builds and cultivates the body and mind in the best way possible. It trains the individual in self-awareness, self-reliance and self-control.
         The Kujiweza Healing Arts Method combines the movements of Yoga, Tai Chi and Chi Kung with breathing, concentration, meditation and relaxation exercises to strengthen the body and minimize the opportunity for illness and aging.

    Hatha Yoga

    Our approach to yoga applies postures, breathing and meditation techniques to evolve the body free of pain and disease and to protect against the stresses of modern life.

    Hatha yoga uses stretching and breathing exercises to improve the respiratory, circulatory skeletal and muscular systems, to strengthen the spine and prepares the body for meditation.

    Yoga meditation allows one to gain control of the energy force and direct it throughout the body to improve health, relieve stress, clarify thought and to steady the body and mind.

  • Tai chi is an internal exercise system that can be performed by anyone regardless of age or physical condition. It combines breathing with slow gentle movements to improve the flow of energy (chi) through the body, to quiet and calm the mind and emotions and to improve overall health and well being.
         Daily Tai Chi practice is extremely helpful to those with chronic ailments and illnesses like cancer, heart disease, stroke, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis, peripheral neuropathy, respiratory problems and irritable bowel syndrome to name a few.
     
    Chi Kung
    Purpose is to train and direct energy through the body using the mind. Chi Kung combines physical movement, breathing, concentration, meditation and relaxation exercise in a single system to help prevent and cure disease. Chi Kung provides a pro-active method of achieving health and fitness by lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, increasing oxygen and boosting the immune system. Chi Kung improves the functioning of the heart, digestive, blood circulatory and nervous system and removes stress products from the body created by constant pressures of daily life.
         Chi Kung inspires enthusiasm, positive energy and tolerance, thereby reducing irritability and improves listening and interpersonal communication skills.
    Table Massage
    Physical, mental and emotional tension and stress build in the body in response to the pressures of daily life. These stress products accumulate in the tissues and nervous system of the body to cause illness. Massage remove stress products to relieve muscle tension, pressure, aches pains and fatigue in the body and extremities.
    Chair Massage
    Our rejuvenating chair massage is conducted with the individual fully-clothed seated on one of our chairs. Our certified therapist will come to your company, office or home and provide massage of neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands. Before massaging, the therapist will consult with each person to determine special needs and to make sure that the massage conforms to individual’s wishes.
